Why is this Important?

This process of data organization is important because of the next step of this project, which consists of drawing ROIs for each of the patient's images.

 

I was first given a large spread sheet with several different pieces of information about the patient and his/her brain metastasis(es). After I was given this, I was tasked with transferring only the important information (information needed for this project) to a smaller spreadsheet for organization purposes.

 

This information consisted of: MRN number, Pre-Op MRI Date, Surgery Date_1, Location of Surgery_1, and any other surgery that may have been performed and its date.

 

When all this information was compiled in one document, it was sent off to an imaging lab where these specific images were collected and ready to be drawn.
