The first part of my imaging task was to help organize a spreadsheet which held the image numbers of interest for this project. My assignment was to collect the correct data from the desired image (date, location, ect.) and transfer it to a much simpler, cleaner spreadsheet for our own convenience. 

After all the image data was organized, we began receiving the images in both MGH files and BWH files. After the files were received, the imaging began through the program, Slicer. This program helped me draw the regions of interest (ROI) for each of the images sent.

As stated before, the ROI's were drawn through the program, Slicer. I did this by pulling the images up in the program and using the editing tool to outline the area of the metastasis. 

When all the images were drawn and saved back in their original file, they were sent to be checked for accuracy. They did this by putting them into a collage and compared the drawn tumors to the original tumor's location at one given image slice. When this was completed and any image was fixed, they were sent through a "pipeline" to gather image data for each image which will be used for further research within this project.
